    More info;

    Here is a used Lockhart 2-row oil cooler that I took off my 1983 Yamaha Seca 750 before I sold it. It was installed for 14,000 miles and works great to help keep the engine oil temperature down on hot summer days. There is no damage, leaks, or bent fins on this unit. When installing the adaptor bolt, you should use a few drops of blue Loctite on the threads (clean the crankcase threads first), so the adaptor bolt doesn't come out when you change the oil filter (as I found out at the first oil filter change). That is why there are marks on the bolt from using vise grips to remove it, there is no hex head or flats to grab with a wrench. The edges of the brass elbows out of the adaptor plate have been rounded off to fit with a MAC 4-1 exhaust system, works with stock exhaust as well. Lockhart part #YA-703/704 with original instructions, says it fits 550 Seca/Maxims also. Lockhart no longer makes this cooler, I paid a mint for this thing brand new on ebay in 2006.
