I was seriously thinking about selling the 400 after getting another TCI for it, just because it's not powerful or big enough for me anymore.

So Dez found this little gem for me :)

I'll have to decode the VIN (Didn't write it down) but i'm pretty sure it's an '82. The sticker had a manufacture date of 12/81 so i figure it's an 82 model.

I'm so excited to have finally graduated from the half XJ to a full Seca :)

Bike runs, but has sat for 3 years, so the normal carb clean, fresh gas, check delami on rear brakes, front brake flush will be done. Also as you can see in the one pic in my gallery (did i mention there's a few pics in my gallery) it needs some wiring TLC lol (but NOT A TCI ;)

And this winter she will be getting fresh paint and a seat recovering.

Shouldn't take more than a couple days to get her road worthy.

Take a look lemme know what ya think!

EDIT: I just turned 50k km on the 400 the other day :)

One question i had. I absolutely HATE the stock handle bars. They feel like this... \ / not like / \ that lol. So would bars from a Max work on the seca? or do i have to find something more exact?

    Thanx for the input guys!

Heh i checked the pilolt screws today...
    1 - 2 - 3 - 4
    4.5 - 1.5 - 0.5- 3

LOL A little off from one another eh? :) I have to pull the carbs and do them next week as well, i'm sure the 3 year old gas has gummed the hell outta them. She doesn't run very well right now.

But when i get out on the street and get her goin, she runs fine (but the idle does hang, slides i'm sure)

Oh and it is an '82 -- VIN ***-101109
