Got a heck of a deal today on a 72 gt380 suzuki 2 stroke triple with 14k miles Needs a good clean up but runs good

 

Totes nifty looking bazaak! I love the disynchronous sound of triple two bangers. What did you pay for that little gem?

 

It runs $500 bucks it needs a good cleaning

I'd settle for a GT380, I had a GT550J30 years ago, I'd love another one but when I had them they were $300-500 bikes now it $3000-9000 asking prices for good runners

 

Pretty soon I hope to get started on freshening up my gt750m

 

Your as bad as me hog fiddles lol Now i have the zuki and 2 seca 750s. Remember back when i got ripped off with my gt750 right afterwards you bought yours. I have to remember with these old triples they were not user friendly. The foot pegs are solid no fold ups. Mine hurt me pretty bad yesterday when i was kicking it and hit my shin 2x on the peg. Was bad enough i had to go to urgent care today I am off my feet for a few days now. Broke the skin in 1 little spot infection set in in 1 day. Good pain meds tho

 

Holy Moly, Cutlass!!!! You be careful with that, or they'll end up cutting your leg off!! Gotta be more than just an "overnight infection" happening there!!!!

that is all it is kept me up all last night this am it was just half this size all of a sudden it got hot and turned red and blister grew 3x the size this am

If your doctor hasn't considered testing you for diabetes, ask him to. Rapid progression of a minor wound to that serious of an infection is one indictor of diabetes or a pre-diabetic condition.

 

Well i am out of the hospital but not out of the woods. Have to stay off it for the next 2 weeks keep it elevated If it does not heal over and close up i will need surgery There is a great big hemotoma (i am sure it is spelled wrong)That goes around the bone. If they surgically remove it there will be a huge hole there . I have to keep a close eye on it. I got so many iv antibiotics was not funny and morphine every 3 hrs so i slept a lot of the time. Now i am on 2 oral antibiotics and oxycodone. Leg is still red but the fever is gone it is so swelled up at the knee i can hardly move my knee without lots of pain.

 

How is the leg?

 

That leg is all better other foot i am having surgery on the 30th . Here is a pic of the bone popping thru the skin lots of pain with this one. My insurance is so slow and i am the one having to pay the price with pain. My dr screwed up on this one it was swelled the size of a baseball he cut the top off the callus felt great relieved the pressure. Went back 2 weeks later said it was healing well and never bandaged it up a week later i was back in the hospital with an infection. They actually had to do surgery to clean out the infected tissue. 35k for carelessness on the foot dr part. This has been going on since the beginning of Oct saw the surgeon on Nov 17th the bone popped out around thanksgiving it did pop back in but my dr or the surgeon would not tell me what to do. So i sit on my but playing the waiting game be glad when its over but 4to 6 weeks til i can use it at all.

 

I hate that it's necessary, but it's time to lawyer up. You should not be on the hook for costs incurred due to negligence on the part of medical personell.

 

I'm not a fan 2-stroke bikes but I have to confess that this one is a huge catch at this price.

 

If that is indeed the case, I'm with K-moe on that.......

OUCH! That leg looks like it would hurt just by looking at it. Hang in there.

 

Damn Cutlass, hope you heal up soon and best of luck in court if you go the legal route.

Had my surgery 8 days ago had my first post op 2 days ago Dr says everything is healing nicely. Hopefully everything was fixed right
