    Hey all,
Last year I rebuilt various areas of my 82 Seca 750. I replaced the cylinder head, replaced everything in the forks, totally rebuilt/replaced the front brakes and I worked on some other things here and there. Well I finally started riding the bike again since the weather has warmed up and there are some odd issues I'm having that I hoped someone could advise me on before I start poking around.

-I have one cylinder that predetonates from at various loads and rpms, sometimes its weak at an idle and I can remove the sparkplug wire without any variation in rpm, sometimes not. If I remove the carb bowl and clean out the metering jet in the bowl(for the pilot/enrichment circuit) it will temporarily fix the problem, but it soon clogs again. Its cylinder 4 which logically should get the least junk since it sits higher on the kickstand and is furthest from the fuel line.

-My brake lever doesnt fully return when released. There is some slack or looseness in the handle which is originating somewhere inside the hidden master cylinder. The brakes function fine, the brakelight functions properly, there is just that 1/2" of slack between the end of travel and the point where resistance is felt(and the lever springs back to). There is no slack in the cable, only inside the MC.

-My brake fluid warning light is on. I thought I fixed that darn light last year but somehow it thinks my fluid is low again.

-My speedometer bulb is not lighting up, I tried replacing the bulb to no avail. The socket stopped working when I had a homemade LED array plugged into it. I do not know where the issue would lie that would kill power to only this one socket.

-The bike dies randomly. Ive attributed it to the kickstand safety swith because when the bike dies I cannot start it; if I put the bike into neutral it will start fine but as soon as I put it into gear it dies and wont start again; if I put the kickstand down and back up (try that at 60mph) the bike will return to normal function. Ive also had trouble starting it in gear at times and had to switch to neutral to start it but on these occasions it didnt die when put back into gear. I suspect the relay but maybe someone more knowledgable knows for sure.

-Lastly but most alarming, I have experienced trouble shifting UP out of first into neutral or second. The shifter peg feels rock solid and wont move up. I've also ended up in a non-existant neutral between gears on several occasions, between 4-5 and 2-3. I've had the shifter jam in 3rd/4th as well. The only thing I can do is downshift and attempt shifting up again, which usually rectifys the problem. This issue started two days ago.

Let me know what y'all think, any advice, comment or opinions are greatly appreciated.
