I hit a bump on my Maxim-X and a dust cap popped up off the lower fork tube. It jingles when I ride now. It doesn't seem to snap on or anything... maybe held on with adhesive or silicone RTV?

How do I reattach this metal cap? This isn't the black fork seal, but the dust cover, it's shiny.

Some RTV or a dap of silicone caulk on the inner face should work.
