Lower front end. How?

    I looked through archives and couldn't find anything. so can anyone tell me how to lower my front end to give the bike a more horizontal profile? Or link me to an appropriate post...

    Make sure you have a torque wrench when starting this.
    Support the bike with some blocks beneath the engine
    Undo the bolts/clamps clamping the fork to the triple tree, be careful.
    Raise the forks through the trees.
    Tighten the bolts back to the proper spec.

    I wouldn't lower the bike (raise the forks) too much. I lowered mine an inch and the difference in handling is noticeable.

    hmm...ok thanks for the tip! I was wondering about the handling, what kind of change is it? good, bad, dangerous?

    Take it for a ride in a parking lot and see how far you can lean it now. The pegs will be scraping alot easier now. Might not be the mod you want to make?
