What On Earth Is This Place Coming Too???

 

First off, I don't think this statement was actually made. This is an election year and with our military presence in the middle east many would like to make the party of the current president look quite bad so as not to bring in someone who would continue his policies. Second , I do't really care if it was made. Sometimes you have to get tough with other nations to force them to do the right thing.

 

How could anyone make him look any worse than he already looks?

 

Tough call, while I did vote for him, he was the lessor of two evils in my opinion. Wasn't happy with any of the candidates, frankly they stunk but I can't complain seeing as I voted for him. Ticks me off regularly he does but I am at a loss as to where a decent politician can be found these days. Seems to me that we haven't had decent options in over 30 years. What ever happend to the days when the candidates actually represented the will of the people and showed up to their appointments in Congress each and every day as they are paid to do? Time was that these fellas worked for us and if they couldn't be bothered to show up, John Q Public let him know about it by cutting off his paycheck! Gad it irritates me to hear the garbage regularly strewn across the media, removing all doubt to the world that we are in sad moral decline. There was a time that public office was an inspired goal for one to acheive for the greater good. Nowadays it represents an opportunity to line ones pockets and screw your fellow man simply because you can. I've not heard common sense enter the frey in a very long time. God help us all.

He'd be a perfect candidate, he is guiless. What you see is what you get, he doesn't hide who he is and speaks his mind, no matter how distasteful the thought. Honest is a word that would describe him.

 

Honest? you hear him tell anyone where he and them think/are they from , so a selective honesty like "i never ever had sexual relations with that woman" , it just happened that "it" was out and just happened "it" went off and just happened "it" was pointing at watsaname who just happened to be close by "it".

But the reel humerous part for me is that the mostest largest biggest "LAW" was made the Smallest insult .Tell no fibs to p at riot law.

Sorry HooNz, I understood that you were refering to Uncle Fester from the Adams Family. I must admit I'm feeling a little stupid. From what you just posted, I'm assuming your refering instead to our former dope-smoking, draft-dodging twit. "The art of lying is not in the words, but in the deception". He made a mockery of his office and of our country. What a looser (he did really well with foreign diplomacy however, gotta give him some credit). He scalped our military and lied to his people. How can one forgive that?

Of course, this is much worse than turning us into a nation known for torturing people, invading other nations without cause, eroding our own personal freedoms, cutting taxes for the superrich while running up bills that insure our future generations will be paying forever...

Hear you, can't argue too much either, sadly. I think discussion is healthy, but as I'm not sure what it may accomplish, I suppose it is best left alone. Thanks for the update, I had heard of the threat but was ignorant of the details.
