    Hello people!

I went in to the local autoparts store today to buy some gear oil for the Maxim. When i went to the shelf that usually stores gear oil, i noticed that for the viscosity that i wanted, all of the bottles were gone... except for one white bottle that read "80/90 hypoid gear oil." It looks like it is produced by some company called Lucas... Now i usually buy valvoline or mobil1, but i decided to give this product a try. Ive searched the forums after i got back from riding (once the gear oil was changed i had to take a ride... I'm sure some of you can understand this impulsive behavior) and read about what their additives do to regular oil and it has gotten me worried... Did i make a bad purchase? Should I dump the Lucas oil and change it immediately?

If anyone has ever used Lucas before, your input would be most appreciated!

I dont think that there would be any issues with the oil, just the oil ADDITIVES.
