hi people, i am currently looking at a mac exhaust on ebay for a 700 maxim with slash cut mufflers, but i would like to know would this system fit my 750r.
i am currently running a 4 into 1 but to do a service on the critter i have to drop the whole system and the price of a ssytem over hear is just a joke. nothing under $800.00 and they want the bike for 2 days. (not an option). plus i prefer to do the work myself, bit pedantic that way.
also what do these systems sound like. thanks in advance for your help

Well, It's not hard to swap headers at all, and shouldn't take more than 2 hours. The 750 and 700 are a close size, so I would assume that the exhaust ports are the same width apart. If they are slightly off, all you have to do is pry them apart from eachother to get them on. Not really a big deal. This is such the case when doing shorty headers on a car that don't have all the pipes on a flange. Just simple prying gets them to fit on.

    Good luck with your pipes!

All Mac 650/750/700/900 systems are the same from what i gather. The 700 was a result of harley whining to Congress that the Japanese competition was dumping and they couldn't sell any of their overpriced antiquities. Any bike over 700cc's was tarriffed heavily. Overall it helped Harley regain their footing in the market. So the Mac should fit your 750 without any problems. Depending on muffler type, the Mac can be anything from slightly louder than stock to obnoxiously laoud. The Canisterr and meg systems sound great. cruzerjd
