Real happy with how the exhaust turned out. What do you guys think?

Cutting and bending an exhaust mount bracket to fit just right ended up being a lot harder than anticipated and this polar vortex in the mid west is not messing around. Turnbuckles were my temporary fix but they actually work pretty damn well.

Looks great, just keep an eye on that mating area of the muffler hanger and the hook starting to wear. I would guess with road vibration and wondering how hard the hook is? I do hope it works long term for you. Good work. Nice looking bike.

I'm sure it wouldn't last long over here in europe.. or elsewhere if you ride some bumpy roads. Highway and smooth roads ok.

There aren't many smooth roads in the upper midwest. Frost heaves.

I should be fine then. I live in Michigan. If we are know for anything it's our abundance of lakes and our smooth roads. What even is a pothole?

Do you really expect that to work

You have given your muffler a radius to pivot on this is not going to work well for you. What you should do is make a metal bracket that is bolted to the footrest holder in two points and extend it out so that the muffler is hung from above instead of on a pivot point.

I like that idea, thanks Pol. The turnbuckle wasnt a permanent solution. But It's actually more secure than what you'd think since its pretty much a bracket you can tighten that pulls the muffler towards the front of the bike making it pretty snug. My ~100 pound girlfriend was able to stand on both mufflers and jumped around a little without them moving. I'm not sure why I feel compelled to defend my turnbuckle idea...

But yea I agree it has too go. Those little screws could decide to fail and that would not be fun.
