Maxim 650 luggage

    I did a search on this but did not find any help there.

    What type of luggage(bags, racks etc) will fit on my 650 Maxim? I would like to do some touring soon.

    One option (what I did for my 750 Maxim) is to watch ebay/craigslist for Vetter hardbags. Mine came from a Honda 750, so they needed just a tad bending and refitting, but they work and look great IMO.

    I'm going to have a set of Vetter hard bags fit for a 750 Maxim available shortly(as soon as I go pick up the bike).

    Anyone know if they'll fit the 650?

    I have a set of yamaha krauser bags from a 1982 maxim xj750 that I use on my 82 xj650. I can post pic later. I have yet to be able to find another set tho, guess they aren't that easy to find.

    I have soft bags on mine, the tank bag is key. And the blue bag on the back was just for a trip.
