    Hey all,

I am hoping that someone has a picture of something that i wish to do to my Maxim. I have a '82 maxim 650 and i would like to throw on a tank from a 750 maxim. I am just curious about if it is going to look disproportional or not. Anyone have any pictures of doing this in your gallery?

Sorry not yet - I've not found a tank to do the swap but I'm going to!

I've seen it in person, and can vouch that it doesn't look odd at all -- in fact most people say it looks more "right".

Hopefully someone can get you a good picture.

No, it looks wonderful. Be careful if you're using anything besides stock handlebars, though; you'll have interference problems. Fits like a dream, no mods needed. I believe XJJEFF has pictures of one on his bike somewhere in his gallery.......
