Maxim x exhaust

Hi I have a xj750 maxim x , the down pipes aren't too bad but the collector box has been replaced by some very rough looking bodge and the silencers are rusty aftermarket ones , as parts are quite hard to get over here I was wondering if any other exhausts fit ? Cheers Paul

 

The collector from the Turbo is always available on eBay if you want to piece together your own 4-1.
You can use your current down pipes and this will bolt to the same secure mount under the motor now.
Find an aftermarket silencer you like then fabricate an S-bend to go from the collector to the silencer.
But be warned, you will lose the centre stand as the routing will fowl the LH pedestal for the stand, this was my experience with an XJ650R frame & the X motor.
