Maxim X Fan switch

    Anybody come up with a good alternative for replacement (other than OEM) fan switch (temp sensor). They are $70.00 on bike bandit. The other option I know would be to put a manual fan switch on it.

    If you have a U-pull-it junkyard in your area, you might want to take your switch there and walk around to see if you find a likely match under the hood of one of their cars. I would expect imports would be better bets in that respect (KIA, Honda, etc).

    I did that a while ago, then I broke the clip that goes into the valve housing...it was sweet before I did that though.
