I finally got to the MC rebuild. Ha, i gave it a new paint scheme so I threw it up here in the Mod section....

Pretty straight forward. Trickiest part was the little circlip that retains the plunger boot. I just shaved the tip down on an old pair of right angle needle nose pliers, handled the job fair enough. The new crystal sight glass looks good too.

I gave it the new paint scheme to match the newly rebuilt caliper and the new blue SS lines I picked up. Used the same Rustoleum engine block paint. It advertises oil and gas resistant but I will do all possible to keep the brake fluid off it anyway.

That's pretty awesome! How did you strip the old paint off? DId you spray the new paint on or brush it on?

    Looks great :)

I stripped the old original paint off with a dremel using a sanding bit. then I just sprayed it. couple coats primer, couple color, several clear.

Is there a link to your build? I would love to see how it is looking.
