Midwest Spring Ride

    Hey all in the mid west,
    I've been thinkin of seeing if we can get some of the Xj'ers in the midwest out for a spring ride; in the sring of course.

    I know it takes time to plan something like this so thats why I started to think about it now.

    I have other friends on different bikes already in but it would be great if we ould get a few of the XJ'ers to go along for some XJ brother/sisterhood thing.

    The plan is open and ready for suggestions but for now we are lookin at; Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska and Wyoming as possible plaes to go. Time wise, any where from 4-5 day to as long as 2 weeks or more. We may even work it so that some could join for just a part or the whole ride.

    I am from Mitchell SD and know the east and west protions of this state but know very little about the other states listed. If you have any ideas of some cool plaes to ride in your area lets get those ideas out and see if we can ome up with a plan.

    I would for the sake of expense like to tent camp along the way. State Parks are always good but private land an be even better.

    Lets see what we ould come up with.

    I'm over here in St. Cloud, Minnesota (we've probably talked about meeting up in the past) I will try to keep in touch incase your planning on passing thru mid-Minnesota and or I can meet you some where along the way? I'll keep it in mind.
    It would be fun to take some time off and do a long ride in the summr months (we take 2 week trip at the end of August every year and try to go west as much as possible)
    So - just give me a shout next spring! >PD<
