Modifying the 4-2 collector.

    Well I'm considering welding a blocker on the left side of the 4-2 collector to make it basically 4-1. Is this ok to do, or heck no. Lemmie kno. Thanx

    I would not recommend doing this, too much restriction would take place in my opinion.

    I agree with Nick.. 4-2's are designed to free flow the gasses to a muffler. If you block one side off, the gasses from that side have to make their way through the collector box (which by the way is not just an open chamber) to get out... not a good thing because it would add additional back pressure.
