(Much) Longer forks??

    I just bought this Maxim as seen in this post:

    And the forks are considerably longer/taller than ones on my 82 650. I believe the one in the post is an 81 650 but why such a difference? Are they possibly not stock? It looks like it makes the rear end ride lower....Any thoughts guys?
