    Hi all,

    New to the forum and my (nearly running) XJ900RK. After some research and perusing forums, I get the distinct impression that certain parts are not aplenty for these bikes!

    One of the few items that I need is mufflers. As per a very "helpful" comment to a wanted thread I started, I figured that someone might know if there is a compatible (perhaps period correct?) muffler for these bikes. One thing that I have found about vintage bikes and owners is: the more scarce the parts, the greater the ingenuity.

    There's plenty of 4/1 systems that will fit----personally, I think they look hideous, it that's just me.

    The xj750rl mufflers are almost identical, and only the. Discerning eye will be able to tell the. Difference. BUT, those bikes were even more rare..........
