Well i am back from the west ... season was short.

Looking for different types of mufflers for 85 maxim-X 750

Anyways, i started on my bike, cleaning stuff up. I wanted to take my mufflers off and clean up the manifold and mufflers really well. Well, my mufflers are pretty much toast (i think) i had a very hard time getting them off, the copper bushing where the muffler 'fins' clamp on to were pretty much one unit, probably been on there 24yrs. So the copper is off and the mufflers took a beating, they are quite rusty as well. So I think i would like to get a new set of mufflers. They don't have to be stock either, i am maybe thinking turnout style or something. I was wondering if anybody else replaced there mufflers with aftermarket ones and if so do they know the makes and models of the mufflers and where i could see them.

    Thanks

    Zack

I believe MAC, BUB and possibly Jardine make slip ons that would work, including turnouts.
