My bike wont idle....

Ok here is what the problem is,I just bought the bike it runs and drives but it seems like no matter what I do I just can't get the bike to idle.The bike will run with the choke on but not below 2200,it just wants to die if it gets lower than that.The bike has just the headers,so no mufflers.And the carb boots are cracked externally, but they look like brand new on the inside. If I get it above that 3000 mark, it runs nice with only the throttle, and no choke.Please help im at the end of my rope here. :cry:

 

first off go through and clean the carbs through( it may seem like a pain, but its well worth it, trust me)
