Into my 3rd season riding my seca with no issues and have no complaints. However using the factory mirrors gave me an excellent view of my elbows. Got fed up with this and brazied two and a half inch extensions to the mirror shafts. Gets mirrors out a little farther to do their job. Now the stock mirrors with aftermarket concave mini mirrors give me a great rear view. I do not miss my elbows!

You could also have just shortened your upper arms (hacksaw, acetylene torch, etc.) and gotten that whole "T. Rex" look going on, I've heard it's an up-and-coming "thing" today.......

I didn't think of that! My way was less messy and I can still reach for a beer. You might have a creative solution for a
Lower seat or longer legs? This site always good for creative ideas for hard to solve problems!

I have always had a massive blind spot riding.
I have taught myself after scaring the shit out of myself to do a complete head turn before changing lanes.
Damn mirrors. Ill look into the concave mirror concept.
    I'm inspired.

Concave glue on mirrors saved my skin more than once. The day after I put them on I was being followed by a gravel truck I was to make a left hand turn. A grey blur in these mirrors caused me to stop my turn , the blur was an old lady in a Buick passing both the gravel truck and me. She would have hit me in mid turn! Would not ride without them!

I agree. I have the small concave mirrors on all three of my bikes. Gives me a little extra comfort.

Yeh--I was thinking the same thing. Getting old, I guess.

Getting old is better than the alternative. Most of my riding buddies are gone or eating through a straw. Been riding since I was 16, now 79.

I know what you mean. I'm 77 and have few folks to ride with. Still think I have a lot of miles in me.
