I just made a nice long 500km (312mil) round trip journey on my XJ900. What a ride! the vibrations were intense at first, and my right hand numbed out; but for some reason, after about 45mins, the feeling came back, and the bike seemed to calm down.

Before I left I ran my bike through the T-CLOCK check list, but now that I'm back... is there anything outside of the T-CLOCK scale that I should look for post ride?

Here is the T-CLOCK check list copied from another forum for those of you not familiar.

    no.

i talked with Carl saturday and hes going to seafoam the carbs since they seem to be a bit sticky since he cleaned them last fall. the rubbers (airbox side or intake side) are pretty well on their last leg and he doesnt think theyll survive another dismounting...

ive got to get a title and plate for it and pay the insurance on it (not in that order...)

the maxim is streetable except for the no-plate no-insurance ive got going on right now...

ive gotten the 750 welded but its in commerce twp without a headlight, instrument cluster or any turn/brake lights or horns...

yeah and i just went back to work and my father in law flies in from Denmark tomorrow. when it rains it pours...

    im on them though...
