    A work in progress. The basics are done enough to ride it. I've still some foam work to do, then pattern it out, then sew the cover up and install it.

    What overall design are you going for (or what seating/ergonomic issues are you trying to resolve)?

    BTW - I see you also have a 440 LTD (looks like an '82 or '83).

    ...not certain. The bike is narrow, ...the engine is built narrow so I'll keep the seating narrow. I wanted to lower the seat height and clean-up the frame area from the stocker. I wanted a stepped seat also. I'll probably go with a gel pad in the drivers position leaving the passnger with all foam. I'll finish it off in fiberglass. I'll make my own side panels to flow with it once done.

    I'm kinda fluid with it all right now.

    I really like what you are trying to do here, the stepped seat adds so much character to the bike, I was thinking of something like this for my 900 project, thanks for the ideas.

    Sweet, I am using a yoga mat for my new seat pan I am building. I have some of my leather tooled up.
