My xj650 Bobber build!

    Here we go.. Will catch everyone up on the last 2 days progress tomorrow But for now its the first set of pictures! Going to be working on this alot so hope it goes by fast... for starters i am only going to be dealing with the frame... after its done i will work on geting a rolling chassis going... then will start on the motor! then controls, wiring... and last but not least.. Tear it all back down for prep and paint!!!

    For starters here is some parts i know i am going to need if anyone can help me out it would be great!

    Front end... I think i will need everything the whole Tree and forks for sure! If you can help me out let me know i have to figure out if my wheel is bent... I may also need that... will be needing a rotor and everything for the front brakes other then the master (That is if my master is still good) Not there yet.. Anyways Here are the first pictures.. sorry for reposting them but wanted to get this thread started so i have somewhere to update my work!

    I never was able to do a whole bike in one period of time. I always fall into the ride as you go category because I can't stand having a bike I can't ride. That only leaves about 3 months during the winter to do the major stuff. Can't wait to see the results!

    Lol i have 3 other bikes so its not really a big deal for me.. And i kinda enjoy working on them more then just cruising the street ... Btw thanks for the post on useing the tab on the strut to mount the hard tail i had been thinking about that and wondered why no one else was doing it! its for sure the way im going now Lol i really have to catch up on the pictures i have everything cut and almost ready to weld after i mess with how everything fits a little more.
