need a petcock rebuild kit

    took apart my petcock the other day to clean it up because it was a wee grungy, put it back together and now it leaks. Works fine in terms of getting gas to the bike, but gets gas to the floor too. Where is the best place to get a rebuild kit?

    If you do a search on here you'll find a pretty good thread on petcocks ran about 2 or 3 years ago. The re-build kits ain't up to much, at least not the two I've tried. May be worth giving Chacal a call.

    ya aftermarket petcocks, Have A prime/On/OFF valve. The stock petcocks dont have a off setting because its a vaccum system. Soo Thats another thing is if u have a vaccum hose coming from ur carb into the petcock you'll know its stock.
