I recently purchased a 1982 XJ750. When I purchased it it would turn over but not start. Since then I have replaced the spark plugs fuses and battery. Now I have nothing. I am almost certain that the problem is electrical. The lights will work intermitantly if the wires on the fuse block are moved. Also on the fuse block the left side wires have been cut from the fuse connection at both ends. Does anyone have a breakdown of what each of the four fuses goes to? Or does anyone have some advice on what it might be.

You need to acquire a service manual for starters. The fuse block can be replaced with a nice one that chacals has. Click on the XJ Engine up on the top of this page and you will find more parts and info you will need about your bike.
