    Just bought a 82 maxim, wondering where the best places to find parts are. Need new mufflers and the carb joints (the rubber between the carbs and the jug) for starters.

    You might want to search around on the forums for muffler options and how to repair the intake boots. Otherwise...get ready for some sticker shock 8O :lol: . ^^^ Chacal does have the best prices, and you'll get top quality parts from him (and he's a great resource...very responsive). But those intake boots don't come cheap.
