    Hi all,

I would like to clean my neutral switch as it sometimes not indicates neutral.
    But, where is it located?

    Thanks in advance!

Left bottom of the engine, next to the oil pan.. It's screwed in like a spark plug, and is a royal pain to get a socket on. Last time I had to replace one of these, I removed the front engine mount bolts, and gently jacked the front of the engine up to give me more room.

There isn't much to clean, either.. Probably better to replace it if you're going to have it out.

Not necessarily. It depends on the bike.

On the chain driven bikes (550/600) it is located behind the sprocket cover, in front of the countershaft sprocket. And it gets pretty yucky in there.

His signature says 650 Seca, though for some reason it doesn't show up on the post.

Ok! Thanks for your answers and apologies for not posting my bike.
It is the 650 Seca and it is fantastic :)

I will have a go, but if it is too hard to remove I guess I can live with it not working. But it's great to have everything in order
