Well, my XJ STILL isn’t on the road after owning it for about a decade, so I decided to buy something to ride NOW, which will hopefully reignite my fire for the XJ chop project. So..... here it is.....

Anyone else have a Volusia? I ordered some Shinko 777 whitewalls for it that will be here tomorrow and a pair mod removal kit, but aside from new grips (heated?) and maybe a cell phone mount I don’t plan on buying too much for it.

Maybe new side covers from Blue Collar Bobbers, Front/rear turn signals, front turn signal bar/mount, brake light, license plate mount, cruise control (BrakeAway?)....... oh I could definitely go down a dangerous rabbit hole on this one . I should stop.

Let me know how that V twin of your rides and feels. I was going to go with a VTX 1800 for a cruiser but fond a Honda Valkyrie. I was concerned with the heat that a V twin puts off and then comes right into the riders seat area. I was also concerned with the vibration of a V twin. After all the yrs I had spend on sports bikes and inline bikes I was concerned with the vibration of a V twin. Let me know your option when you get to ride. Thanks
