    Hi all.
New chap hear from the UK, thought I'd better introduce myself.
I recently bought a 1981 XJ650 4KO as a bit of a summer project. The bike hasn't been on the road since 2007 so needs a bit of work doing.
When I got it it ran (roughly) but had no front brakes and needed a good strip down and overhaul.
I'm getting on pretty well so far thanks to Mr Haynes and reading loads on the forum (massive help already), but there's quite a way to go.
I won't bore you with what I've done so far, but here's a pic from the advert on Gumtree, followed by a pic of her as she is currently.
    Cheers
    Mark

    Cheers Mate!

Be careful with the Haynes, it has a few errors that are pretty important.

Valve clearance numbers and air jet locations just to name a couple.

Looks to be in pretty good condition with none of the important bits missing.

If you can't find the parts you need over there, our guy chacal ships across the pond. Quick as bloody hell too.
