I just purchased a new set of Allballs dust seals for a fork rebuild I'm close to finishing. I grabbed the parts off ebay, based on what the allballs site recommended.

Once they arrived, it seems they're too big. Like, the inner diameter (ID) is considerably larger than the outer diameter (OD) of the forktube it's supposed to be keeping clean.

I grabbed part 57-110, which even lists my bike on the packaging as a replacement.

Has someone used this part before with success / got some ideas?

Can't really say on the fork dust seals, but I had a recent problem with steering bearings I got off of eBay from allballs - bottom bearing was too thick and top dust seal didn't fit at all. Ordered from XJ4Ever the parts fit perfectly. Years ago I had ordered some bearings and seals from all balls for an xs650 and didn't have problems - don't know what the deal is now.

I've had that problem with All Balls dust seals. Customer with an SV650 had me rebuild his forks, he supplied All balls seals. I needed a press to get the dust seals in, then over a period of about 20 minutes they'd climb back out.

I also find the oil seals very difficult to drive. I don't use All Balls seals unless the customer demands them.
