    Hi guys,

I'm an Aussie who has just got himself 3 x xj650 as a project, I'm new to the xj, but do know my way around the spanners, so im not affraid of a bit of work. I was looking for a project when these bikes came up, I always liked the late seventies early eighties styling of bikes, so it was a no brained to jump at the chance to own one (or three). My plans are to complete one bike in the next couple of months before summer hits, then start work on the second. All three bikes were complete and all build in 1980. It looks like there is heaps of knowledge people on the forum, so I'm looking forward to chatting.

    Thanks for reading

Welcome. 3 bikes, wow! You are the lucky one. Do lots of reading before jumping in. jmilliken has a link in his signature called New Bike Checklist. It covers all the things you need to look at. Take your time and have fun.

Thanks Bmarzka, I'll have a look. That sounds like a great place to start.
