    Hi, FNG here. I just bought a 83 maxim 750. Love it! 17k miles, been garaged for 9 years.

    I have a couple questions, it has a bit of a miss(fuel rrelated) Just above idle, when cruising. Poss. plugged pilot jet. Can a CV diaphragm cause this is ruptured? Does Dyno jet make a retting kit? What can I do to wake it up? Runs good, has a Jardine 4 into one exh.

    Thansk for any tips, tricks, what to look for etc.

    If it sat for 9 years your prolly going to want to clean the carbs

    Yeah, ok. I'll do the bench synch of the carbs I found here by Gamaru. Nice job on that article! Going to do the filter and fuse block tonight.

    Whats up with the front brakes on this thing? They seem very ineffective on mine...
