New Jersey title and paint color question

    My bike is titled black. If I paint the tank and side covers but leave the frame black, do I have to change the color on the title or can I leave it black?

    I would assume (coming for MA) that your color is related to your tank and fenders...and that all the frames came out of the factory black. But you should ask them what to do.

    Paint the Bike.
    When it comes time to renew the Reg, ... send-in the Old Reg before it expires with the Old Color lined-out and the New Color written-in and Initial the change.
