    Hi All,
    New member from Australia (Outback QLD for the fellow Aussies) saying g'day. I just picked up an xj650 for a few hundred dollars and am currently trying to bring it back to life. No pictures at the moment (lost my camera) however will post some up soon.

    Issues identified so far:
    *Bike has been painted (rattle can) 4 different colours (black, white, blue, purple) and all the colours are showing through each other.
    *No brake master cylinder
    *Front forks are completely dead
    *Front caliper is jammed on
    *Dodgy indicator brackets screwed into the frame
    *Welding marks all over the neck..... yikes
    *Float bowls covered in screw driver gashes!!
    *Half the main and pilot jets are destroyed
    *Tank full of rust

    Nothing too tricky, and with the exchange rate being so good between the US and AUS at the moment I have a ton of new parts on the way :) :)

    Will post a build thread once I find the camera.
