    Hello all,

Replacing the throttle shaft seals on the Mikuni BS36's. To be safe, I'm doing one carb at a time. Dismantled and checked all the fuel and air circuits are clean. Clunk test again. Hand filed the peened butterfly screws until they were flush with the throttle shaft. Then they came out fairly easily. Got some new Allen head throttle shaft screws from Chacal. I've finished 1 and 2 carbs today.

Attached are some pictures of 4 carb. I'm wondering about the flat head screw, which is just under the throttle linkage and spring. There is one on each carb. It looks like it just extends the spring stop, so the spring does not come off. Does it have to be removed to check if a passage is clean? Does the screw do anything?
