yes it is my first bike. I've always wanted one. Had my license 10 years ago but let it expire when i didn't have a bike to do my final road test. This time i took the riding course to get my M2 (graduated system here in Canada) and bought the bike right away. Now Just have to ride for 18 months to get my final M license

If you want your bike to go the high mileage; you have to be religious on doing frequent Oil and Filter changes.
    Not by the book.
    Write your own book.

You'll get the most out of that Engine by protecting the Bearings, Bushings and Sliders along with Piston Rings and the Camshaft Bearings and Journals.

Fresh Oil and a new Filter at intervals under 3,000 Miles.
    Don't stretch your Oil Changes.
Get the stuff that's done the job of keeping the close tolerances -- close -- then, dump it and get some new Oil in there to take over the protection.
