    Greetings from Sunny England,

I've had my 1981 XJ 650 Maxim (US Import) for about 3 months now and ride it most days, it's a little tatty, and untidy around the edges but still a great looking bike.

I'll probably be asking all sorts of daft questions and looking for spares etc - so please bear with me

I belong to a local bike club and have been out on a number of "Rides out" with them and most of the other members are amazed at the robustness and durability of my old bike.

I'd be interested to hear if there are any other UK members on the site

    Spinalator.

Take a tip, while in Kilkenny steer clear of the poteen unless you rub it into aching joints. I have a half bottle and I'm thinking of trying it on my bike's dull alley.

Welcome Timmy! As prior post point out, there are quite a few of your countrymen to be found here.
