    just wanted to thank you all for your help.there is so much info on here that i didnt have to post any questions during my build .just had to search.just went for my first ride and love it ,just need to order some bigger jets to compensate for increased air,and all should be good. hope to be involved here and will help where i can.thanks again

    thankyou fellas! after going to UNI foam filters and up two jet sizes shes runnin great ! lighter and faster! just in time for winter up here hahah. but as long as its nice....ill be crackin the wrist!

    Have you checked the valve clearances and done a compression test yet?

    I see painted-over valve covers; how many miles on the motor?

    Keep an eye on the plugs.
