newbie parts fixing and upgrades

    hi all im new here to the site and to the riding world. i recently got an old beat up 82 550. it needs work.... a lot of it.

    so does the supporting vendor have a website? or do you have to browse everything till you find what your looking for?

    and were is a good place to get parts for modifying the bike. like a new front fork assembly and handlebars... im going to go for the cafe look. how will i know what will fit? is this just from experience that you start to know what will work?

    thanks for any suggestions and love the site very help full.

    You can PM Chacal with your bike info (VIN, part that you are working on.) He will make sure that you get the right parts, and any neccessary info that you will need.

    Mod parts you can get buy going through the Sale, Trade, Wanted section.

    I strongly recommend you get the bike running and stopping correctly BEFORE beginning any modifications.
