Doesn't "brand new" automatically mean "unused"?

Yes bad phrasing on my part, they were bought 30 odd years ago by a guy who was racing a 550 at the time and he didn't ever use them

They're beautiful. Often, pieces like that may be NOS but have lifetime of shelf marks, scratches, etc.... making the appearance less than satisfactory until refinished/refurbished any way.

I have a NOS X-1 fairing with windshield, mounting bracket, hardware, and three sets of lowers---- all pristine. It's a sight to behold.
