North Texas Carb Clinic - Fall 2007 - Preliminary Info

    Hi all,

    I wanted to let you know to be watching the list for more info to be announced soon about the 3rd Annual North Texas Carb Clinic (NTCC).

    When? Sometime this FALL - I'll be checking the calendar to see when I'm available, and checking with past participants to see when the best weekend will be. A decision & posting of a date will be forthcoming...

    Where? In the North Texas (Dallas, Texas) general area. Most likely at my home in Richardson, Texas

    Who? Well, this list is an XJ-Owners list.. but iffin' you don't ride an XJ to the clinic - we sure won't hold it against you.

    What? North Texas Carb Clinic. We'll work on your bike's idle mixture with a colortune plug... we can synch carbs.. (Morgan CarbTune II, and several others locally have a set of Motion Pro Carb sticks).. I've got a YICS tool to blank off that YICS passage when tuning... I'm sure that between the participants, we'll have plenty of food for a Burger or BBQ lunch and/or dinner, and I'll work on another donation from a major manufacturer of a certain treatment we all like to use (no promises, though - until I hear back from them).

    If you would like to be kept on my personal NTCC email contact list - feel free to shoot a note to me off-list & let me know. (send to rex @ treasureboards.com ) If you preliminarily know of a weekend that is good for you - or that is a definite "no-go" - let me know, and I'll try to set a weekend that will work for the most participants. If you are close enough to make it, or know of another XJ'er who is close enough - pass along my info - or contact me offlist, and I'll keep you up to date as we get details pinned down.

    I'm looking forward to another great carb clinic!

    Wow! I just opened my door to see that Brown (UPS) had delivered 3 fairly decent sized boxes to my doorstep.... What's in them you may ask?

    Well, if you were to ask, I'd say "Those are the boxes sent by a certain "sponsor" of the North Texas Carb Clinic"...

    And if you were to ask... "Wow, Rex - What all did they send?"

    I'd say.. Well, here's what's in those boxes:

    (96) Bottles of Bugs-B-Gone
    (12) Cans of SeaFoam's "Deep Creep"
    (24) Cans of SeaFoam Motor Treatment (yes - the product we all know and love!)
    (5) Appx 30-Minute Videos - "SeaFoam & Bugs-B-Gone Training Video"
    (12) SeaFoam Brand Stickers (as seen at the 1st Annual XJ Carb Clinic)
    and a handful of sales brochures for the SeaFoam family of products....

    More info will be posted this weekend on the particulars for the NTCC (North Texas Carb Clinic)
