Noticed something odd

    A couple of weeks ago I added a luggage rack to my 650. There is one light I turn left at that does not recognize me so I either have to wait for a cage or run it (legal in NC if you wait 3 minutes).

    Last week was nice so I rode every day (sorry Fitz). On 2 of those days I rolled up as the only vehicle in the intersection and the light changed immediately. I doubt they fixed the light but I find it hard to believe that adding metal a few feet up would make the difference.

    Opinions?

    The odd part is I have hit that light tons of times and it never recognized me before.

    Maybe the light got you confused with someone else...some people have that kind of face you know...sorry bill...just kidding...couldn't resist.

    I have found it makes big difference whether I'm in the center of the lane or I deliberately stop immediately over the detection strips embedded in the road. Did you notice if you've changed your approach to the lane?
