Use the search function on that one as opinions vary greatly and many a battle has been waged on what is the best oil. Not trying to blow you off but you will find what U are looking for on search.

With the age of these bikes, the best filter to use is the one you can find.
It'll likely be the standard FRAM one - CH6003 - good filter.

Oil is a touchy subject - some people get VERY passionate about oil choices. - Automotive oil or motorcycle oil.
    - Conventional or synthetic
    - This brand vs that brand

Take your pick - at this point my suggestion is that any oil is better than no oil, and to avoid anything with "friction modifiers" as those mess with our clutches.

Especially on an air cooled bike it is most prudent to use an oil formulated for motorcycles. One of the most readily available choices is Castrol 4T 20W50. Check out the Castrol web site for the differences in automotive v. motorcycle formulations. I use it in my water pumpers and air cooled with zero problems.
