Oil Change Tip

    Hello all.

    Just changed the oil.

    Quick tip.

    XJ750 - 2.5 litres oil capacity (without filter change).

    and you can't see through the sightglass like mine.....

    I filled 2 x 1.25 litre soft drink containers to measure the oil I put in.

    Simple but effective!

    Had a fantastic ride today..... Hope you did too!

    or you could buy a 1 quart measuring cup from a dollar store for a whole buck!!!

    And you would be off by a fraction of a bit.

    2.5 liter = 84.5350568 US fluid ounces

    2.5 qts = 80 us ounces

    half a cup difference

    I thought about pinching one of our many measuring jugs from the kitchen but was a little worried about my wife's reaction! But next time in town I'll be sure to grab one. Cheers.
