    Hello all,

I've got a leak and my turn signals won't flash.

The leak is from the round plugs on both sides of the motor. I can't find them anywhere in my Haynes book and when I look at gasket sets I can't seem to find anything that looks like it would fit that spot. So I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a gasket for it and what it's for.

Here's the plug on the right side and there's a matching one on the other.

I'm also having problems with the turn signals, they won't flash. I've changed the signal relay twice. The PO did put aftermarket signals on it and I've heard that dual filament lights can cause problems but these are single filament bulbs. He also grounded the lights right at the mount, I'm not sure that has anything to do with it but I'm not good with electrical.

If anyone could help that would be fantastic and greatly appreciated.

Those plugs have an o-ring on them. Pull the plug with a 10mm hex bit and replace the o-ring with the proper metric size (available at most auto parts stores). Its a simple fix for about $ 2 total. Very common problem but simple to fix.

Do you know what they're for? I thought I saw that they were for oil filters. I live in Phoenix and it might be a good idea to install one. Also if I could get a name I could just order an OME one from Chacal.

Don't know why they are there but I do know they are connected to the main oil gallery! Make sure they are correctly tightened!

I'm far from an expert on this, but it looks like your wire is grounded into the tree which is cast aluminum. That seems like a poor spot to me considering that the frame is not that far away to ground too. Again, I'm no expert, but I would not like that on my bike for performance & looks.
