Parting Out 81 xj650 midnight maxim

    I bought the bike for parts. I pulled a few odds and ends for my 82 650 maxim. The odometer shows about 11k and has a clean Ohio title. Most of the trim is there, but isn't pretty.

    Headlight Assembly
    Grab Bar
    Gauge Cluster
    Both Rims

    Right side foot pegs
    Rear brake connecting assembly
    Left side reflector
    Gas Tank
    Mirrors
    Turn Signals

    I'm keeping:
    Carbs
    Front Caliper
    Rear brake shoes
    Tires

    Here are some pics of the bike (partly dissassembled). The bike was pretty much complete, so if there is a specific component you want, please let me know and I'll get you a picture.

    I was wrong at mileage. Odometer reads a little over 14k.

    Looks like PO tried to use RTV silicone for the head gasket... seems like a bad idea to me...

    seca, its only a single front brake.
