I have an 82 XJ650 Maxim and I like the look of the 750 seat and sissy bar. Does anyone know if you can easily put the 750 seat and sissy bar on the 650?

I have heard that the tanks are interchangable, and I was just wondering what other parts are.

I also saw a backrest/luggage rack for a 750 for a decent price on ebay and I was wondering if it would fit the 650. If the mounting holes are not that far offf I might be able to make it work by drilling new holes or enlarging the existing holes in the mounting brackets.

Hey, I'd be interested in this discussion as well. I've got an old 750 special that's been dead for quite a while and I've just purchased an Xj650.
Are the wheels, handlebars, seat, headlight, turn signals...etc all the same?
