    I bought a headlight and a set of forks for my 83 maxim 550. The parts ?I bought for from an 81. I didn't know they wouldn't fit, obviously. My question is, what years will fit an 83? (Headlight, front forks)

    All three years 550 Maxim were the same.*

    All three years 550 Seca were the same.*

    However, the Seca and the Max were different. Either you got a set of 550 Seca forks or what you got aren't from a 550 at all.

    A LOT of eBay sellers think that 550/650/750 parts are all interchangeable and mis-list things all the time.
